If you ask me what is greatest gift. I'd say it is not my body... 100% not.
.
Here's something you didn't know about me.
.
I was skinny. I was weak, and I easily fall sick. I wasn't that athletic guy who did well in sports (my school mates knew how sux I was)... Apart from fitness, I was that low self-esteem kid who is not strong enough to hold eye contact with anyone for more than 3 secs. I'm negative af.
.
Thankfully, the universe is fair. Why? Because I have this one special gift. This one power in within me that is more powerful than any steroids in this world, and that is "I can't accept being weak when I know I can be strong". Some people called it "Kiasu"... Whatever. I don't want to live according to my fate; I want to live up to my destiny.
.
I took all kinds of courses, both live and online (I still remember 15 years back I secretly took up a dating course just to learn about a man's self-esteem, *ahem* and how to pick up girls too... I didn't tell anyone including my family).
.
I joined the gym a few years later... Every night I'll do my research in training and nutrition, but you know online kinds of stuff is not 100% legit, so I got a lot of wrong infos too.
.
Physically, I dislike my narrow shoulder, broad waistline, and my infamous structure of my ab muscles... and so I train and diet really hard! As motivating as it sounds...The real results? Too much of Hardness = More problems. Problems like injuries and health issues (from dieting too much). Well, this moment is the fun part for all motherfuck!ng naysayers... While they are working out their fingers behind the glass, I am learning stuff from my failures, as in how to prevent injuries and what it takes to speed up my recovery... These painful lessons are genuinely my best teachers.
.
Seems like the more weakness I discover, the better I will get. That's my strength, maybe.
.
So please don't get upset when you feel like you are a loser. Without losing there's no such thing as winning... Only if you lift that motherf*ck!ng resistance up or else it will crush you like a pancake.
.
Start weak. Be strong. Stay Strong! 💪

About author
I wasn't born with this physique... I've been skinny and fat, zero confidence to almost every area of my life. My life changed dramatically when I started working out for like 5 days a week. A few years later not only I saw improvement on my health and outlook, but it helped me to persist many other negative things in life! What I've learned from gym room... No pain no gain! The harder you struggle the more glorious the triumph! Yup, Life is Up and Down, but every downfall doesn't mean is bad. Just like working out, those pain can be really painful and annoying, but pain is the sign of weakness leaving the body, they are your strength for tomorrow! the best part? Your gains actually last much longer than your pain. Fitness is a gift of my life. I am blessed that I am able to share my gift to everyone here in this amazing platform.
